Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 2, 2026
This policy explains what Claimhood collects when you use our website and service, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what you can ask us to do with it.
1. Who we are
Claimhood is operated by Heyoka Bilişim Anonim Şirketi (Heyoka Bilişim A.Ş.), a joint-stock company registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry Office under file number 480167-5, MERSIS number 0462102714400001, with its registered office at İdealtepe Mah. Dik Sk. No: 13 İç Kapı No: 2, Maltepe / İstanbul, Türkiye.
Heyoka Bilişim A.Ş. is the data controller for the information described here. For any question about this policy or your personal information, write to contact@claimhoodapp.com.
2. Information we collect
We collect only what the service needs to work:
- Account information — your email address and, if you sign up with a password, that password. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication and are never visible to us in readable form. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address from them.
- Subscription information— which plan you are on, and a customer identifier issued by Stripe. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never reach our servers.
- Marketing attribution — if you arrive from an advertisement, the campaign parameters in the link (
gclid,utm_sourceand similar) are stored in your browser and attached to your account, so we know which campaigns work. - Usage and diagnostics — pages viewed and actions taken, through Google Analytics; and, when something breaks, an error report through Sentry. Sentry may record a replay of the session that failed, with all text and form inputs masked before it leaves your browser.
3. What we do not collect
We do not read your email. Claimhood does not connect to, scan or store the contents of your inbox.
We do not store payment card details, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
4. How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and to sign you in.
- To identify class action settlements you may be eligible for.
- To notify you about matches, filing deadlines and the status of your claims.
- To take payment for your subscription and to manage renewals and cancellations.
- To fix errors, prevent abuse, and understand which parts of the service get used.
5. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the following, and only as far as needed:
- Google Firebase — authentication and database hosting, where your account record is stored.
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription management.
- Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
- Sentry — error monitoring.
- Settlement administrators — the third parties appointed by a court to process claims for a given settlement. Information reaches them only in connection with a claim you choose to pursue, and only what that claim requires.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
6. Where your information is processed
We are established in Türkiye, and the providers listed above operate servers outside it, in the United States. Using Claimhood therefore involves transferring your personal information abroad, and settlement administrators handling a claim you pursue are in the United States as well.
We only work with providers that commit contractually to protecting the information they process for us, and we transfer no more than each of them needs.
7. Your rights and choices
Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can object to us using it for a particular purpose. To make a request, email contact@claimhoodapp.com. We answer within 30 days.
Deleting your account — you can do this yourself at any time from the settings in your dashboard. Deleting your account removes your account record from our database. Claims already submitted to a settlement administrator are held by that administrator and are outside our control.
Under Turkish law (KVKK, Law No. 6698), you may additionally ask whether we process your data and for what purpose, ask us to notify third parties of any correction or deletion, object to a decision reached solely by automated analysis, and claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing. If we do not resolve your request, you can complain to the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK).
If you are in California, the CCPA gives you the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information, so there is nothing to opt out of.
You can turn off analytics by using your browser's tracking protection or an ad blocker. The service works normally either way.
8. How long we keep it
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account, the account record is removed. Records we are required to retain for tax or accounting purposes — payment records in particular — are kept for as long as the law requires.
9. Children
Claimhood is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
