Terms of Service
Last updated: August 2, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and Claimhood. By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.
1. What Claimhood is — and what it is not
Claimhood helps you find class action settlements you may be eligible for, explains what each one requires in plain language, and helps you prepare the paperwork.
Claimhood is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Using the service does not create an attorney-client relationship between you and us. Nothing you read here or in the app is a substitute for advice from a qualified attorney.
You submit your own claims. We identify settlements and help you get ready, but the claim is yours: you decide whether to pursue it, you confirm that the information in it is true, and you are responsible for meeting the deadlines the settlement sets.
2. Who can use the service
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You may only use the service for yourself, not to file claims on someone else's behalf.
3. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and let us know promptly if you think someone else has access to your account. You are responsible for what happens under it.
The information you give us has to be accurate and kept up to date — settlement eligibility depends on it.
4. Truthful claims
Claims are submitted to administrators appointed by a court, under penalty of perjury. Submitting a claim for a settlement you are not entitled to is fraud, and it can carry serious legal consequences for you.
You confirm that everything you submit through Claimhood is true and that you are genuinely eligible for the settlements you claim. We may suspend or close an account we reasonably believe is being used to submit false claims.
5. Subscriptions and billing
Claimhood is sold as a subscription. Current plans are $4.99 per week, $9.99 per month, and $29.99 per year. The price shown at checkout is the price that applies to you.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period, at the same price, until you cancel. Payments are taken by Stripe using the payment method you provide.
You can cancel at any time from the settings in your dashboard.
We may change our prices. If we do, we will tell you before the change applies to your subscription, so that you can cancel if you do not want to continue.
6. No guarantee of results
We cannot promise that you will be eligible for any settlement, that a claim you submit will be accepted, or that you will receive any particular amount — or any amount at all. Those decisions belong to settlement administrators and the courts, not to us.
Any figures we publish about typical payouts describe past outcomes across our users. They are not a prediction of what you will receive.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading or fraudulent information.
- Use the service on behalf of another person without authority to do so.
- Copy, scrape or resell any part of the service, or use it to build a competing product.
- Interfere with the service, or try to access accounts or data that are not yours.
8. Our content
The Claimhood name, logo, software, and the material we publish belong to us. You may use them only as part of using the service normally.
9. Service availability
We work to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee it will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or discontinue features, and we may close accounts that breach these terms.
10. Disclaimers and limits on our liability
The service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent the law allows, Claimhood is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for settlement money you did not receive, or for a claim deadline you missed. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event that gave rise to it.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, in which case those exclusions do not apply to you.
11. Governing law
Claimhood is operated by Heyoka Bilişim Anonim Şirketi (Heyoka Bilişim A.Ş.), registered with the Istanbul Trade Registry Office under file number 480167-5, MERSIS number 0462102714400001, with its registered office at İdealtepe Mah. Dik Sk. No: 13 İç Kapı No: 2, Maltepe / İstanbul, Türkiye.
These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, and the courts of Türkiye have jurisdiction over any dispute. If you use the service as a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer law that applies where you live, including your right to bring proceedings before your local courts.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and we will tell you about significant changes before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new terms.
